The creative process can be fed in so many ways and where you write can change your story. An ice cream shop might make your writing sweet and lovely, or the argument you are witnessing in the corner might take your writing from sweet and lovely to dark and edgy in an instant.
In this class, we will explore how physical setting affects our writing by moving around the city and finding great spots to write. We will be meeting at the Loft every day and then quickly venture out to our writing locations for the day.
Daily walking field trip locations: The Guthrie yellow room and bridge, The Stone Arch Bridge, The Central Library, Izzy's Ice Cream and Gold Medal Park. Smart shoes, rain gear, and pocket money are essential for all students, so come and join us as we explore the city.
