You're familiar with Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, Clarke's Third Law, and the Rule of Three. You've been writing and submitting, but all you've gotten for your efforts is, "this didn't quite grab me, alas." You read all the recent SF/F magazines and you can't help but wonder, "Why that story instead of mine?"

This class is designed to help the intermediate writer break in and get published. We will tackle issues of craft such as revision and plot, as well as the business aspects of networking and market research. We will go beyond sci-fi/fantasy 101 and delve deep. Students should have completed short stories and/or partial novels for class/instructor critique sessions.
