The eleventh annual Minnesota Writing and English (MnWE) Conference for college and university English and Writing faculty and students welcomes anyone, faculty, student, or writer.

Would you like to make a proposal? Please consider doing so if it is related to college, creative, or professional writing. Proposals need only be 50-100 w., and you are not required to present a paper at the conference, simply a good idea for discussion with others. If your proposal is accepted (the great majority are), you will present it in a classroom breakout session (usually 5-20 audience members) March 23-24 at the MnWE Conference at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

You may present on any subject on writing or literature. However, iyou also may choose to relate it to this year's theme, "Points of the Compass: The Ethics of our Time." The deadline for proposals was January 19 but is now extended to midnight, Jan. 26.
