Writing Conferences

Throughout each year, the Loft holds conferences that focus on various creative writing genres or cater to specific writing communities. Past topics and themes have included Children’s and Young Adult Literature, the Novel, Poetry, Pitch, Writers Age 50 and Better, and Teen Writers. These intensive one- and two-day events bring together writers, editors, publishers, and agents from both the local and national literary community. Participants can choose from various sessions throughout the conference as well hear from keynote speakers, enjoy networking lunches, and attend readings by conference presenters.
