Manuscript Critique:
Patricia Weaver Francisco

Open to: Short and Long Prose, Fiction and Nonfiction

Word Limit: Please check on projects more than 120,000 words

What You’ll Submit:

Your short or long form manuscript of prose, either fiction or creative nonfiction.

What You’ll Get:

Detailed comments on the text, as well as a summary letter addressing overall structural, thematic, and developmental strengths as well as suggestions for revision. Patricia finds working privately with writers a joy. She has mentored writers through published book-length projects in both fiction and creative nonfiction. When you work with her, she'll respond to your work as a "developmental editor," as an attentive and honest reader, noting what is shining from the page, and also "worrying it around" as she would her own work, to find ways you might re-enter the work in revision.
