College Entrance Essay Coach:
Laurie Lindeen

Open to: High school students who would like coaching and editorial support while writing their college entrance essays.

Word Limit: N/A

How It Works: Laurie meets with a student who has chosen an essay question or topic they’d like to explore for an hour-long one-to-one brainstorming, outlining, and getting-started session. Upon completing a draft, the student emails it to Laurie in a Word document attachment and within forty-eight hours Laurie will respond with editorial advice and commentary line-by-line, paragraph by paragraph. The student can use Laurie’s services as often or as little as has been determined by the student’s satisfaction, needs, and parental approval. Many past students have produced complete, polished, ready-to-go essays after working with Laurie for three hours on average. Past students have been admitted to NYU, USC, Wellesley College, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Aberdeen (Scotland), Georgetown University, Columbia College, University of Michigan, Northwestern University, MIT, Oberlin College, and the University of Minnesota to name a few.
