Thank you for visiting the Loft’s teaching portal. This portal allows you to submit a proposal to teach in-person and online classes through the Loft as well as change your published bio on loft.org.

If you already have a teaching artist account with the Loft, please login below. If you would like to create a teaching artist account (this is different than a standard loft.org login) so that you can submit class proposals, click on “Don’t have an account? Sign up” below. On July 7, the Loft upgraded its database. This system allows the Loft to better serve you in finding events, registering for classes, applying for contests, and supporting the Loft. We think you will like the improvements. As you look around the site, you will find some changes including a new way to register for classes and a new login system (upper right of the site).

While we expect these changes to improve performance, we also want to hear from you if you encounter any technical difficulties. If you do, please consider filling out technical support form. You may also call us at 612-215-2575, but please note that due to the database changes, our response time may be slower than usual.

Login Instructions

As part of security best practices we could not transfer existing loft.org passwords to the new database. If you already had an existing account with the Loft, you should have received an e-mail asking you to change your password. If you did not receive this e-mail or cannot find it, please contact Daniel Mortensen, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

You will not be able to log in to your account without changing your password first. Please Note: f you want to make changes to your profile or your password, you'll need to use the Forgot My Password link.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Keep the following in mind when submitting proposals.

1. Please review your profile prior to proposing a class and make any necessary updates.

2. Field(s) with a red mark before them are required for all proposals. Other fields are required only for specific proposals – please read each page carefully and make sure you are providing all of the required information.

3. You can back up to any page using the “Previous Page” button. Use the “Save and Continue” button to advance.

4. Course Proposals at the Loft are evaluated only if (a) all required fields are completed AND (b) you have pressed the "Submit Proposal" button on the last page.

5. You can save your proposal as a draft at any time by clicking “Save and Continue” or “Save and Exit,” and can return later to complete it. However, the Loft will not review proposals unless they have been officially submitted.

6. You should review the entire proposal before you submit it. You will NOT be able to edit a proposal after it has been submitted.
