The Loft Literary Center brings writers and readers together to create and share literature. Founded in 1974, it is the nation’s largest independent literary arts center, offering classes, readings, public forums, free open writer and book groups, publications, grants . . . a community for people who love literature. Most Loft classes take place in Open Book, a renovated warehouse space created in 2000 as a home for writing, reading, and the book arts.
