This is a partial listing of calls for submissions for publication in books, magazines, anthologies, and websites. The information is incomplete, but does list contact information and appropriate links. Almost all editors require a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) to return your manuscript or to send guidelines. The Loft cannot verify the legitimacy of the entries listed below. Be aware that some vanity publishers require writers to buy expensive copies of the publication in which their work is to appear, or to part with large sums of money for other reasons, and that these requirements are not always made clear at the outset.
